The Memory Room Opens for Business with Family-Friendly New Year’s Eve
The new Clinton Township venue will open prematurely Dec. 31 to offer local families a place to ring in 2013 with music, dancing and a sparkling juice toast at midnight.
The Memory Room won’t officially open its doors until Jan. 7, but families are invited to ring in the New Year with a special celebration at the venue Dec. 31. “It’s something different for families to do instead of just sitting at home,” said owner Dana-Marie Serio. “They can be out in an entertainment atmosphere. I think the kids would really love that. I know my children will be here and they’ll love it.” Unlike many other parties set to take place at bars and restaurants across Clinton Township on New Year’s Eve, The Memory Room’s bash will be geared toward kids. “We’ll have the crazy blowers and the hats and all the goodies and surprises for the kids throughout the night,” Serio, herself a mother of two, said.
