The American House Foundation was established in 2007, allowing American House to support seniors in need outside the safety and care of their senior housing communities.  In 2012, the American House Foundation partnered with Macomb County Habitat for Humanity by making their first donation.  This monetary donation was used specifically to make home repairs for seniors, 65 years or older, in Macomb County.  These guidelines match up with Macomb Habitat’s current Program, entitled,  “A Brush With Kindness.”
