7th Annual Living with Autism

If you have a child with autism, you hunger – for resources, support and hope. And you can feed your body and soul with empowering messages from two leading autism advocates at Metro Parent’s seventh annual Living with Autism Workshop.

Two featured speakers split the bill. Get inspired by Stephen Shore, Ed.D. – a favorite of renowned animal behavior scientist Temple Grandin. Shore, who is on the spectrum, shares his story and tips for maximizing the potential of people with or without autism. Also, discover an array of ASD diet options from Julie Matthews, an autism nutrition expert/author. She shares eating dos and don’ts, meal ideas, advice for picky eaters and more information to improve overall health.

General admission is $80 before March 15; $95 after that day. For professional SCECH credits (teachers), the costs are $95 and $115, respectively. Groups of 10 pay $80 each for general, $100 each for SCECH. Register at MetroParent.com/AutismEvent.
