CALLING ALL COMMUNITY MINDED BUSINESSES

Does your business adopt a community project for the holidays?

If so— consider supporting the children’s gift program of Big Family of Michigan

Part of the mission of Big Family of Michigan is to teach Michigan’s foster children to trust and to create positive memories.  Last year, the nonprofit organization received over 8,000 gift requests from children.  Your help would be appreciated!

HOW TO HELP:

Find out what's happening in Clinton Townshipwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

1. Be a Secret Santa to one or several children and purchase the items on their “Wish List”.

2. Host an internal and/or external new toy drive and donate the toys to Big Family of Michigan.  A list of suggested items is on our website:  BigFamilyofMichigan.com

3. Gifts are wrapped and sorted at Big Family of Michigan’s warehouse in Fraser.   Sponsor a wrapping day by scheduling a team of employees to volunteer.

4. Donate wrapping paper, tissue paper, gift bags, name tags and tape.

5. Make a monetary donation for Big Family of Michigan to purchase requested gifts.  Many children request clothing and outerwear in specific sizes.

6.  Donate gift cards—especially for  Marshalls, Target or  Wal-Mart .
