LUSH Cosmetics to Open Third Michigan Location at Partridge Creek

Attention shoppers, your experience at The Mall at Partridge Creek is about to get LUSH.

The UK-based brand, LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, is planning to open its third Michigan location in Clinton Township, making the Partridge Creek store one of more than 830 LUSH locations in 44 countries around the world.

"We are thrilled to be opening our third location in the Detroit area," said Brandi Halls, director of brand communications, North America. "Our new shop at Partridge Creek rounds out our positioning in this market and offers our loyal customers in east Detroit the full LUSH experience that we've been eager to share with them."

The store will be located near the mall's center court, across from The Apple Store and between Brighton Collectibles and Art-is-in-Market, formerly Ragstock.

"Being that LUSH has its roots on the British high streets, the open-air aspect of Partridge Creek was very appealing as it allows us to showcase the storefront in a manner our customers have come to know and love," Halls said.

Offering a smorgasbord of scented cosmetics for skin, hair, bath and body, all products in the LUSH line are made of fresh organic fruits, vegetables and essential oils. 

Founded with an ethics-based philosophy, the brand prides itself on producing effective and innovative beauty products that have minimal impact on the environment, which includes an animal-testing ban.

As a result, LUSH products are 100-percent vegetarian, 82-percent vegan, 68-percent preservative-free, and 37-percent free of wasteful packaging.

No opening date has been set, but mall management say the new store is expected to open prior to the holiday season.
