You would never guess that the restaurant has only been open one week, the way the way customers fill the place at any given time during the day.

But, with over 250 freshly prepared Asian dishes nestled in 11 buffet bars, one can't go wrong with the variety of cuisine... or with the price either. The unlimited lunch buffet costs just $6.99, with dinner priced at $9.99.

Zheng is no stranger to running a business either.

The Plymouth resident currently co-owns Teppanyaki Grill locations in Flint and Taylor, and plans to open another in Westland in just a few weeks.

He says he enjoys the atmosphere of Clinton Township, and is glad to be here.

"Gratiot is a very popular, busy road and close to Detroit," said Zheng, of the location. "The customers here are happy; they tell me not to change a thing."

Zheng notes that the most popular buffet item is the 16 kinds of sushi offered. You can also watch chefs cook your food right in front of you on a hibachi grill.

Teppanyaki Grill offers a full-range dessert bar which includes fresh fruit, pastries, cookies, cake and several flavors of ice cream.

There is also a party room which can be used to accommodate large groups or special events.

As an added bonus, if you throw your birthday party at Teppanyaki Grill, the wait staff will sing "Happy Birthday" to you as you dig into a complimentary cake.

Make sure to check your mailbox soon as Teppanyaki Grill coupons might be waiting for you. Furthermore, senior citizens, police, military members and college students can receive a 10 percent discount by showing ID.

The restaurant is also now hiring hostesses and servers.
