Erie Elementary Partners with Business Community to Develop Future Leaders

Erie Elementary School was recently awarded a $60,000 grant to launch the nationally recognized “The Leader in Me” program.  The program is based on the best-selling book, “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People,” by Stephen Covey.  The goal is to equip students with the confidence and skills necessary to thrive in the 21st century economy.

To ensure future funding for the program, Erie recently reached out to businesses throughout Clinton Township for support.  Many have already stepped forward to partner with Erie and make sure "The Leader in Me" is a success for all involved.

Opportunities are still available for businesses to provide a cash donation or supplies to help support Erie Elementary during this five-year transformation. Participating businesses will receive exclusive marketing opportunities through Erie Elementary as a thank you.
